Forms and inputs

89 entries in 8 subcategories

Forms are the largest component area in the Vue ecosystem, so this section is split into subcategories: date and time pickers, selects and autocomplete, drag and drop, rich text editors, form builders and wizards, inputs and masks, image croppers, and form state and validation. Most real forms combine several of these, for example a validation library such as vee-validate or FormKit with vue-multiselect and a date picker.

Start with validation and state, since that decides how every field is wired. vee-validate, vuelidate and FormKit are the most-starred options, while regle, NotForm and Formisch are newer headless or type-focused choices. Then fill gaps with individual inputs. Many input components predate Vue 3, so check each one's Vue support and last commit, and prefer components that keep native input semantics, labels and keyboard behavior that assistive technology relies on.
