eslint-plugin-vuejs-accessibility, maintained by the vue-a11y community, checks templates for common problems such as missing alt text, unlabeled form controls and invalid ARIA attributes, and it is the most active entry here. vue-axe runs axe-core audits in the browser during development, and vue-announcer sends messages to screen readers through a live region, which matters for route changes in single-page apps. vue-focus-lock traps focus inside modals and drawers.

vue-announcer and vue-axe both declare Vue 2 in their repositories and last saw commits in late 2024, so look for Vue 3 versions before adopting them. Automated tools catch only part of accessibility problems, so also test with a keyboard and a screen reader. Building on accessible primitives such as Reka UI, and using native elements where possible, prevents many issues before they reach users.
