Vue DevTools is the official debugging tool. It inspects the component tree, props, state and Pinia stores, records events on a timeline, and is available both as a browser extension and as a Vite plugin that runs inside your app. vite-plugin-vue-inspector opens the source file for an element you click in the browser, and Vue Mess Detector statically analyzes code for smells and violations of recommended Vue practices.

Storybook, the most-starred entry, develops and documents components in isolation and supports Vue 3, while Poveste, a fork of Histoire, is a Vite-based playground focused on Vue.
