Most sortable lists in Vue are built on SortableJS. vuedraggable-plus, the most-starred entry, wraps it for Vue 3 and Vue 2.7 with a component, a composable and a directive, and sortablejs-vue3 is a thinner wrapper around the same library. vue3-dnd brings the React DnD model to the Composition API, and vue-fluid-dnd and Vue DnD Kit are dependency-free Vue 3 libraries with their own drag engines.

vue-draggable-resizable is different: it moves and resizes free-floating elements rather than sorting lists, and it has had no commit since mid-2024. When choosing, check touch support, auto-scrolling near container edges and keyboard alternatives; Vue DnD Kit lists keyboard navigation among its features. Dragging across nested lists, or between a list and a grid, is where libraries differ most, so prototype your exact case before committing.
