Form builders and wizards

Form builders generate forms from JSON or a schema instead of hand-written templates, which suits apps where admins design forms or fields come from a backend. form-create, the most-starred, renders dynamic forms with validation and submission and has recent commits. Vueform is a comprehensive form framework for Vue 3, and Everright-formEditor is a visual drag-and-drop form designer, though it has had no commit since early 2024.

The list also has multi-step and verification inputs: vue3-form-wizard splits a form into steps, vue3-otp-input handles one-time codes, and vue-stepper-component is an older Vue 2 stepper. Schema-driven forms trade flexibility for speed, so check how a builder handles custom field components, conditional logic and validation messages before committing. For hand-built forms, the Form state and validation category is the better starting point.
